This page explains what information this website collects and how it is used.
What stays in your browser
Your quote list (the products, options, quantities and notes you add) is kept in your own browser so it survives a refresh. It holds no name, phone number or email. If you arrived from a campaign link, its campaign tags are kept for that visit only.
What you send us
- A quote request or message: your name, phone, optional email and WhatsApp number, town, dates and notes, and the items on your list.
- If you use the assistant and choose to talk to a person: a short summary you approve and the contact details you give. See the assistant section below for what happens to the conversation.
The Ask Motion assistant
When live answers are switched on, the assistant's replies are written by an AI service run by Anthropic. Each time you send a question, that question and up to the last 12 messages of the same conversation are sent to Anthropic over an encrypted connection, together with our instructions and the information published on this website. Please do not type names, phone numbers or confidential details into the chat.
We do not keep the conversation in our own database. Anthropic handles it under its commercial terms, which allow it to keep the messages for a limited time to run and safeguard its service, and which do not allow them to be used to train its models.
If you choose “Talk to a person”, only the short summary you approve and the contact details you give are sent to us and kept with your reference.
What we do not collect
No advertising or tracking cookies, no third-party analytics scripts, no account or password, and no payment details: nothing is paid online.
How it is used
Only to reply to your request and keep a record of it. We do not sell it or share it for marketing.
When a request arrives, staff may be alerted with its reference, your name and your phone number or email through a workplace messaging service we use for that purpose.
Your choices
You can clear the quote list at any time. To see, correct or delete what you sent, contact us through this website and quote your reference.
